Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am-4.00pm
Salary: £35,000.00 - £40,000.00 pa DOE
Role Type: Permanent

gap personnel acting as an employment business are currently recruiting a Production Manager (Food) for a fast growing, entrepreneurial food business based in the Southwest, BS24. As a Production Manager, you will play a key role in delivering a strategic plan while overseeing day-to-day production operations, reporting directly to the Operations Manager, and you will provide leadership, management, and direction to the teams.

Responsibilities:

• Driving operational delivery and quality, ensuring production activities consistently meet performance targets and adhere to the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety.
• Leading the team to foster a positive, high-performing work environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Managing transitions between products efficiently, minimise downtime, and optimise production output.
• You will be accountable for Safety, Quality, People, and Cost (SQPC) throughout your shift’s.
• Working collaboratively with the management team you will ensure operational excellence that supports both commercial objectives and budgetary commitments.

Requirements:

• Strong communicator
• Excellent time keeping and deadline management.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience and competency in a supervisory / managerial position.
