When it just works

There&rsquo;s a particular kind of stress that only exists on a busy site. Everything is technically covered, there are names on the rota, the shifts are filled. And on paper, it totally works. Huzzah!

Production is waiting on warehouse, warehouse is waiting on MHE &ndash; and FLT drivers? Well, they&rsquo;re on a different schedule entirely. And that&rsquo;s not to mention short-term projects which appear when you least expect them. Next thing you know someone calls in sick and suddenly the whole thing feels more fragile than it should.

But here&rsquo;s the thing &ndash; it&rsquo;s not a <a href="https://www.gap-personnel.com/employers-news/managing-summer-no-shows-in-industrial-workforce/">staffing shortage</a>. It&rsquo;s a versatility problem.
