gap personnel operating as an employment business are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives  Packing operatives to join their team on a temp-perm basis Our client based in Whitchurch, Shropshire are dedicated to manufacturing great quality products for their customers. Own Transport is required THE ROLE We are currently supporting them in recruiting for a number of Packers to join their team to help support our growing business. You will be packing products off a number of high-speed machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as well as ensuring regular visual quality checks are undertaken. . Duties: Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a Packing capacity. Strong communication Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work Teamwork Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines To pack product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packaging To ensure all product is labeled correctly To act as a role model for quality standards and ensure this is applied through daily activities Ensure that housekeeping standards are achieved and maintained at all times to 5S standard Maintain effective and appropriate communication with your colleagues at all times To keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipment Skills Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a Packing capacity Strong communication Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work Teamwork Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines Shift times may vary  Hourly Rate of pay £11.44 Per Hour For more information or to arrange an interview in your local area please call gap personnel Wrexham branch on 01978 366666 alternatively, send your CV to gap_wrexham@gap-personnel.com
