Job Title: Admin and Inventory Assistant (Temporary)

Location: Berkhamsted, HP4

Pay Rate: £22 - £25ph

 

Main Aims

  • Create an accurate and comprehensive inventory of equipment and spare parts.
  • Support the team in maintaining organised and up-to-date inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct a thorough inventory of equipment and spare parts.
  • Maintain and update inventory records using MS Excel and MS 365, ensuring accuracy.
  • Generate reports and summaries related to inventory levels and equipment status.
  • Perform data entry tasks to ensure all inventory and equipment records are accurate and current.
  • Liaise with team members to ensure proper tracking and reporting of inventory.
  • Assist the manager with ad-hoc tasks related to inventory management.

Person Specification – Minimum Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • Experience with MS Excel, MS 365, and data entry.
  • Proven track record of maintaining accurate records with strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or inventory management role is desirable.

Skills & Approach

  • Strong writing and numeracy skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS 365, with data entry and reporting expertise.
  • Excellent attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Duration: Fixed-term contract until the end of March 2025.
