Team Leader

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Team Leader / Supervisor for our client within their warehouse team in Ammanford. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth workflow, safety compliance, and effective team coordination.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: £14.25 per hour
Overtime Rate: £19.80 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise daily with the Supervisors to coordinate warehouse operations.

• Carry out general warehouse duties, including adherence to 5S standards and operational procedures.

• Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurately completed and submitted.

• Supervise and support warehouse operatives, ensuring productivity and quality targets are met.

• Maintain high standards of timekeeping and team management.

• Ensure all warehouse equipment (FLT, PPT, Aisle Master) is correctly used, charged, and safely stored at the end of each shift.

• Secure the warehouse premises and lock up at the end of the day.

Requirements:

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a warehouse environment.

• Good communication and leadership skills.

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

• A valid FLT, PPT, or Aisle Master licence is desirable – training can be provided in-house if required.

• A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
