Job title: Production Operative
Rate of pay: £11.44 and £22.88 per hour
Contract type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Caerphilly
Job description: Are you experienced in the world of production work, or looking to get your foot in the door? We’re recruiting Production Operatives for a family run business based in Caerphilly.
Ideal skills and experience: Production experience is preferable, – you will learn on the job and all training will be provided. Physical Stamina is essential due the role requiring lifting up to 25KG. Strong attention to detail is key as you will be checking goods, as well as a thoroughness to keep records up to date and well documented.
Key responsibilities: As a Production Operative, your duties will involve day to day responsibilities on a production floor, including:
- Ensuring that products are processed and handled correctly.
- Unbox items weighing up to 25kg each and assist with moving or lifting heavy blocks of product, also up to 25kg per item.
- Heavy lifting involved continuosly.
- Manual case packing/pallet stacking of finished goods.
- Label and package products correctly and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and procedures to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Hours of work: Available shifts Monday to Sunday:
- Shift 1: 5.30am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- Shift 2: 1.30pm to 10pm Monday to Friday
- Shift 3: 9.30pm - 6am Sunday to Thursday
Candidate will have to be able to work all 3 shifts alternating each week.
