Job description
Our client, based in Leeds, LS12, Armley area is looking for permanent Forklift Reach TruckDriver. The company is an experts in packaging, supplying consultancy advice, products, machinery, and process improvements to some of the most recognised brands in the world.
Time: 8am - 5pm
Shift: Monday-Friday- 42.5 hrs weekly
Salary: is £12.50 p/h plus Accuracy Bonus after 6 months probationary period passed
Position: Permanent
Overtime available
Responsibilities include:
Drive and operate Reach Truck (Flexi articulated forklifts will be advantage or training will be provided)
Conduct routine pre- and post-operational checks on forklift equipment
Load and unload materials.
Safely stack and secure items in designated areas within the warehouse
Put pallets away in designated storage locations
Pick and marshal pallets for outbound shipments with attention to detail and accuracy
General Warehouse Duties
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Collaborate with team members to fulfil general warehouse tasks as needed
Candidate requirements:
- Valid UK forklift operator's license (Reach)
- Proven experience in operating both Reach and articulated forklifts.
- Strong attention to safety protocols
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
