Location: Avonmouth, BS34
Job Role: Parcel Sorters
Hours: 2pm-10pm Monday to Wednesday
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Role Type: Temporary, Part time. Ongoing until mid-January

gap personnel Bristol are acting as an employment business, currently working in partnership with a well-established parcel sorting company. gap personnel are currently looking for 2 part time Parcel Sorters to start on Monday 11^th November!

As part of the team you will help to load and unload vehicles engaged in parcel freight distribution. This role involves lifting up to 25kg. You will need to be a good communicator and reliable, have a good eye for detail, be able to work as a part of team and adhere to health and safety at work.

Key responsibilities

• Use the correct equipment and methods for handling and moving all freight
• Be able to marry up locations and ID codes with the correct cages
• Ensure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depot
• Report all damages immediately to your line manager
• Ensure all freight being loaded or unloaded matches relevant paperwork / scanner information
• Ensure that customers freight are transported, stored safely and treated with respect
• Ensure the security of freight and company assets by reporting and suspicious activity to your line manager or the security team
• Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately
