Warehouse Operative

we are currently looking for a warehouse operative to join a busy team in a well-established client based in Cardiff.

Our client is a busy fulfillment center. This role requires a high level of attention, accuracy and a previous experience working within a warehouse environment.

*The role requires you to have your own transport as this company has 3 different warehouse locations in Cardiff - you will be required to support across all of them once fully trained*

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles - heavy lifting.
• Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
• Taking goods to the appropriate storage space – perhaps using loading and lifting gear for heavy goods.
• Operate warehouse management system (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
• Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly.
• Picking orders using a hand-held scanner from the storage space and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
• Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

Working hour: 09:00-17:00, Monday - Friday
